As far as I know, Dev has never played here. Three hour drive from where I am to Auckland but I will definitely be there!!
Are there any other Kiwis lurking around here?

Me and I'm quite excited. Have taken the friday off work so the wife and I can drive up to Auckland from Wellington. I sure hope Devin gets to have a bit of a look around and see the sights of New Zealand. If he’s in Wellington he can come to my house for dinner!

Any one know if there is a meet the fans kind of thing where I can get an autograph and a photo?

That's a hell of a drive.. We're driving up from Rotovegas and driving back after the show. A meet and greet would be the icing on the cake.

I'm a kiwi. I'ma be at that concert, come hell or high water. This concert's a dream come true for me, I'd said to a coworker just the day before I found out Dev was comin' here; "Nah, I don't think he'll ever come to NZ, gutted."
How wrong I was! Super keen for photos/signatures so long as you're still feeling up to it after the show, Dev.

Looks as if I'm the only lucky one that doesn't have to go too far.

I thought the very same thing, but I was not-so-quietly optimistic anyway. I even argued with someone over "cost vs. love of it" and how I believed that Dev would be more likely to come here for the fans, not the money. $40 a ticket says I'm right... because I doubt that'd cover all the costs, let alone Devin's paycheck for the show!

I'm based in Auckland so I haven't far to travel either - but yes, the $40 per ticket made me do a double-take when I saw it. I'm glad you were right.

That sucks a little, but it's still not the $70-$100 most international acts charge.

I'm a New Zealander now living in Sydney (yeah, yeah, I know) and I can't make it to the Sydney Dev show because I'll be in Kuala Lumpur for the weekend doing nerd things. So OF COURSE I'm flying back to Auckland to see the show the following week. Would not miss this for the World!
