Merch for all ages

Look Devin, your music is awesome, we all know that.

And there are ways for most of us who are older to show the world our appreciation of it (tees and the likes).

Except for the youngest ones in the crowd.

Take my baby girl, for instance. There are no onesies or toddler tees of SYL, DTB, or the DTP. My daughter absolutely loves your music, and she deserves a little toddler tee of Ziltoid, with ruffles and all. Make it happen, oh Great Devy!

No, I'm not joking. I WANT A ZILTOID TODDLER TEE, AND I WANT IT NOW! :chain:

I'm still hoping that a Ziltoid plushie toy gets made someday. Whether one considers merch of that nature "selling out" or not, I still think a pissed-looking stuffed Ziltoid holding Dev's new signature axe would be hilarious.

Ziltoid really needs a Ziltoy! Whether it be plushie, or whatever else one might conjure up.

Well Ithink Dev and HDR are on a pretty tight budget, and seeing that baby clothing would be a pretty small market I really doubt it would be worth offering those. But if you really want a Ziltoid onesie, there are plenty of places (both online and offline) that can print anything you want on any piece of clothing you want. It won't be official but it'll be all the more unique.

Although I must admit, a stuffed Ziltoid-animal would be pretty damn awesome.

I don't even have a dog and I want that.

Leaving aside the concept of 'more unique', you can just as easily make them yourself. Get yourself something like this:

http://www.jetstreampaper.com/datasheets/P140CITP.asp

and as long as you have a computer, a printer and an iron, you are away and laughing.

I used this to produce a Flight 666 t-shirt for my son for his 3rd birthday last month and it worked superbly. Looks completely professional, the print hasn't faded at all yet, and if it does you can pep the colours back up by re-ironing it. Costs next to nothing as well. Certainly a fraction of the price I paid for his official Motorhead babygrow when he was tiny.

For the next baby I am going to print all of the garments. The scope is endless.

Found this a while ago, looks like you can get anything from clocks to thongs with dev stuff on it.

Still trying to win the lottery without buying tickets?

So that was it :P I knew there used to be a merch shop that had that kind of silly stuff, but I couldn't remember it. Had been looking at the MerchNow store but it only carries T-shirts so I figured they'd discontinued the mugs and all that. Thanks for refreshing my memory :)

Yeah sure, but I don't own the trademark and I don't have the rights to the Ziltoid character, the logo, or Devin's work... I don't know whether it'd be ok for me to use something like Cafepress to do that... I mean, somebody somewhere would be making money with Devin's stuff, and it wouldn't be Devin... And yeah, there's always the Hevydevy cafepress store. But it's mostly the old stuff. No Ziltoid in sight.

I guess I'll have to go the homemade route.

I don't think so. Cafepress would be making money doing what they do: printing stuff. As long as they (or you) are not going to mass-produce it, it's fine I suppose.

I think Devin wouldn't mind, the kind man is usually flattered by such dedication of his fans, no matter how young they are :)

Get the babygrow from Cafepress then form an emo band and write a song (or loads of songs) about your guilt. There's a few other angst-ridden souls around the forum who'd join in a flash.
