what about this dev? the new ihsahn album?
he is incredibly talented. his music has diversified so much since the disbanding of emperor.

Holy crap that Sparks song was annoying.
I've heard much better by them. Feels like a gimmick song. Shit one.

Agree with IX10. The Mael brothers are pretty close to genius and have released some fantastic records. This is not one of them.

i love that song, that album has some real classics on it.

Really dug the new Ihsahn album. Strangely enough, the heaviest song on the album was my least favorite. I really like the slower/moodier stuff in the second half.

That as far as I'm concerned is more his strong point and he should focus more in the direction of that. Just my personal opinion.

It's a cool album bit of a grower I think. It's just a shame his harsh vocals have suffered over the years.
