I've seen Devin live what, eight times now? I've always considered him to be more of a studio musician than a live musician anyway...not to say that I wouldn't see him again if he came around, but if he didn't I'd get over it, as long as he keeps making records...

The hellish parts are purely brutal though, just a little more honest than some syl.

More honest in the vein as say something like Cod Metal King*? That chorus has to be one of the most hellish and densely brutal parts in any metal song ever. Stunning.

*Being well aware that this is an SYL song, I would consider it a rebellion to SYL's "formula", hidden in the shadows of obscurity.
