So here's the deal, Devin was going on tour to promote the Ziltoid album and he was making a stop in my town. For some reason (keep in mind this was a dream) Devin decided that he was going to live at people's houses while on tour. So at this point, he had decided to shack up in my best friend's house about 5 minutes away from me. I had won some kind of contest (who knows what) with a prize of eating dinner with Devin! So the dinner is going to be at my friends house, I go over there and Devin is in the kitchen cooking salmon filets in his underwear! It was the weirdest thing ever, but him and I just sat at the dinner table eating discussing the tour and how bizarre I thought it was that he was just living at random people's houses. He was acting as if it was all normal, all part of the gig. Reyner did NOT make an appearance here, however Devin did have two other kids of his own tagging along with him, one boy and one girl both about 10 years old probably. He never got around to explaining them. I do remember specifically in the dream that I wanted so badly to talk to him about some of the songs on Ziltoid, but I was scared to because I thought he'd be mad at me for downloading it, seeing as it hadn't been released yet. The rest of the details are kind of sketchy in my memory, but there was one part where Devin and my friend's older brothers were having some kind of farting contest

So there you have it. Call me creepy, call me a fucking weirdo, whatever! I found it hilarious and was lying in bed laughing when I woke up at the sheer absurdity of it all. Oddly enough, that wasn't the first time Devin has made a guest appearance in my subconscious mind..

i once dreamt he played a show on the rooftops of my hometown, and he'd change roofs for each song. seems like he has a tendency to appear in weird dreams...

Devin makes an appearance in my upcoming book. He owns a pub. Haha.

Nothing weird about dreams. I'd wonder about you if you camped outside the guys house, but having a dream, which very few people can control, is not weird. Cool dream, though.

Hahah. I thought the part about him having two kids touring with him that weren't even his was funny as hell.

I don't think it was meant that the fillets were IN the shorts when Dev was cooking them, but that the Dev was in the shorts.

I had a dream once where Ryan shared Christmas dinner with my grandmother The rest of DTB was there every now and then too... and there was something with snow-balls

I once had one with Jed. I think it started with me PMing him through the SYL messageboard, then like most dreams it became a bit weird and I in fact "downloaded" myself, a bit like in Matrix^^
So I poped-up in his livingroom, can't remember well the rest of the dream. Maybe he was just there watching TV, and I was like "Oops, sorry for appearing so unexpectingly ^_^"
There may have been a bit more before or after, but I can't remember^^.

Once I dreamed that I was in Australia on a ski slope with Bryan McFadden (formerly of the Irish band 'Westlife') and we had wheels on our sled and we went into my school where Dev was teaching my maths class and he told Bryan to piss off and Bryan turned into a hippo. Then the pregnant teacher came in and me and Leechmaster (who just .. I dunno. Appeared in my maths class I guess) started telling her to have an abortion and we threw bananas at her and the dream was relatively Devin-free from there on out, some other bizzare non-relevant stuff ensued.

i'm guessing devin appearing as a maths teacher was the "after math" thing having a subconscious effect? reminds me of the osbournes "social studies" ad now that i think of it.

I doubt my brain is even capable of subconsciously making a connection of that callibre. I'm slower than most people.

My dreams are just usually random sequences of familiar things. People, places, fantasies, stuff I love, food, scenarios, stuff I hate.

The oddest one I ever had involved me on a big outdoor stairwell with loads of doors on each side and there were Muslim fundamentalists keeping the ressurected Jesus prisoner so I went to tell a priest and he was all 'we have to get married' but nobody would listen to me and the Muslims ended up coming to attack me, then my big brother got stabbed while protecting me and a girl I rarely talk to from school came in and kicked the shit out of them while I tried to call an ambulance for my brother but the lady on the other end of the phone was being narky and all like 'yeeeahh. I don't think I really want to' and Diarmuid didn't bleed to death as far as I know because we made it to a hospital in Toulouse on foot in time. From Ireland.

I think the other one was the only time I've ever dreamed about Dev though. And it was quite brief.
