Call me a nerd, but I started Chrono Trigger on the DS (the extras are probably shite), and I just fought a robot named Gato...

I secretly wished Dev's Gato was a cover of that song.

I just want to say that I really love this album. It sounds very different than all your other projects, but it's steel good.
I feel peaceful when I listen it. Winter reminds me when I was travelling all around Canada especially in Saskatchewan, this song just sound like the snow, it's so beautiful.

Thank you Devin to make such a great album. Again.

And sorry for my english, I'm french from France.

PS : Of course I bought the album on your ebay store.

My guitar teacher keeps going on about Freak Kitchen, I really need to check them out. They sound really interesting from the way he's described them.

So there's french people from other countries? OMG!1

BTW, listened to Ki yesterday while walking on the beach, amazing experience. Sounds brilliant even with crappy headphones and mp3 format.

Agreed! I lost my mp3 player a month ago so have had to listen everything with my mobile phone with the super crappy headphones that come with it (2.5mm plugin so can't put my high quality normal headphones there...), but Ki still sounds great!

I've been listening to this album quite a few times, maybe 5 or 6 and it's a really good album and very different from what I was expecting after the teaser from Devin's MySpace page.

This record is a grower, meaning that it gets better after each listens. At first, I thought that it was and OK record and found it also dull and boring at moments (you know the parts that are just silence with Dev doing some blues string bending). Also, in Heaven Send, is it just me or the BURN BURN part is in more than 1 more Devy record including Strapping?

Now I'm beginning to feel what was intended I got a whole new appreciation of the record. Went on eBay and got my pre-order of Ki.

Now I can't wait for Addicted and Deconstruction. Please put the deconstruction video back online on your Youtube channel Dev :D

Holy Shit. I was going to wait for the CD, but just couldn't resist and snagged the album (but will definitely be buying the album as well).

And holy shit. I LOVE the album, but the end of the track "Ki" is mind blowing. I can't get it out of my head and it's almost too intense to listen to. It makes me VERY emotional. The ending becomes so overwhelming that I have occasionally been physically effected by it - short of breath, heart pounding. Ain't much ever done that to me... well, musically speaking. I mean, there WAS that girl I used to date who...err..

Trainfire is another early fave. Kind of belongs on the same album as "Bad Devil" - I'd love to hear an actual Big Band/Swing band cover one of them.

Of course, I keep getting stuck on Ki, so I haven't been able to give the rest of the album the listen it deserves. when I heard the Arpeggios on that youtube video I loved it instantly, and now that I have the finished product I can't stop listening.

Well done, Dev.

Yeah Ki makes me very emotional too. I can't even go back to the old records right after listening Ki because they sound too heavy. Damn Devin said somewhere that he would like to make "Ki" kind of music more but he will do Addicted, Deconstruction and unnamed first. I really can't wait for more of this peaceful, quiet and overwhelming music.

Though I'm shaking for the excitement what will the Deconstruction hold inside since I get to know Devin by SYL and I'm really into heavy music (expect 30min after listening Ki :D).
