Nightingale - Nightfall Overture (I really wanted to show you a rockin' song called "Atlantis rising", which puts you in a really good mood..But it wasn't on youtube, so you get this one instead, and its more melancholic.. The riffs and guitar sound in the beginning of Nightfall Overture reminds me very much of Devin's sound)

A little RVP update on "Addicted"...

Have learned like 8 songs so far. Two words for you all....

HOLY FUCK!

This album is fucking sick. Be ready, "Addicted" will have so much groove, melody, heaviness and straight up "Dev" honesty to it, you won't know what to do with yourselves. Take all of Dev's heavy, catchy, groove influenced music and you have a full album called "Addicted".

Plain and simple, like I said to Dev this morning.... I'm addicted to "Addicted". I can't wait to record....

A sorta fanboyish question for Devin: Addicted is supposed to be fun and poppy, but you keep describing it as "heavy" as well in it's own way. To me, that almost screams "Vampira" and "Far Beyond Metal", are we going to get lots of songs like that on it?

Dev, odd question, but clarify for me. Is Addicted going to be more "Hop in the car at noon and drive down to the beach" music, or "Hop in the car at 9 PM and head down into the city" music, or will there be a mixture of both. I'm sorely lacking in "daytime" music right now.

I wonder if the 'new' Hyperdrive will differ from the original apart from the vocals. Could mr. Townsend shine some light on the subject, or will this impatient bastard have to wait untill Addiction is on the shelves?
