So,

I hate to be that one person, who is contrary to everyone else and looks like a jerk; but am I the only one who isn't so crazy about this cover? I haven't heard other songs of hers, and therefore can't speak on that - but this cover just doesn't do it for me

She has a very powerful voice, which is awesome. But I dunno, I really prefer the soft, hypnotic Devin vocals in Hyperdrive.

To each their own. I'm sure her performance on Addicted will be very welcome.

She made a melancholy song happy. If you're used to one, it can take a while to adjust. But no, no one will hold it against you if you don't like it ( )

Wait for the album, though. I'm sure Dev will do something magical with it.

I totally second that, thats what I thought, someone with Devs vocal capabilities could easily make this epic as hell, I love the layers and the production is pretty damn good too. When the second song kicked in I had tingles down my neck, its usually only Dev's music that does that tbh.

I also never knew Beav could play bass, mind you if you play guitar, you can play basic bass so it makes sense. I reckon it'll be ace, kind of like half of the DTB with newcomers, Anneke etc. Can't wait, Im getting the feeling this may beat Ocean Machine which I thought might be impossible. Awesome, i've had Ki on loop and have been falling asleep to it, still not getting tired of it and im finding new elements with every listen. Anyone else still doing this with Ki?

Ohh man! I hope it sounds like AAA - that's one of my favorite SYL grooves. It's so catchy and fun to listen to, but it's menacing as hell. It's so malicious sounding.
I hope Addicted is something in that vein. But if not, it'll be something just as good
