I've been buying from Century Media for like 20 years, back when I'd mail them checks, and I've never had a single issue with them.

My Decon/Ghost pack got to me about a month after release date. A. Month. Thank god I got a preorder, right?

I got my Decon/Ghost pack six days after it shipped, and it shipped on the date cmdistro said it would, too... I live about a half-hour outside of Cleveland, so I'm not sure if I'm in the right area or whatever, but I usually receive online orders from within the US pretty quickly. Speaking of which, I finally caved and bought one of the box sets with the lithograph + 10" vinyl - Hopeless Fanboy Syndrome struck again, haha.

I wonder why he decided to remaster Deconstruction and Ghost. Interested to hear the difference.

I'm lost. Is there somewhere us UK-ers can pre-order from, or do we have to wait until the 10th of November?

EDIT: The delicious vinyl version, that is. Or do we just settle for the standard CD/DVD edition?

I preorded mine on Amazon, if the special editions pop up on Omerch or elsewhere I'll cancel that and buy the SE.

But who's to say that's Century Media's fault? It's quite possible that the label failed to deliver the CDs on time.

Century Media is the label, yes? They shipped my CD pack three weeks after release date, I checked the postmark. When they said it would deliver a week before. Their response to my inquiry was "there's been a backup in our warehouse." To which my response is you shouldn't tell me you're going to do something when you don't have the manpower or the money to do what I paid you money to do. I even live in New Mexico for chrissakes, CM is based in California. Two states away. Makes no sense.

Well, where they are printed and where the location of the warehouse(s) the products are shipped from are more than likely nowhere near each other. It would need to be shipped from wherever they are made to the warehouse(s) that are used to store and ship to customers first, then received and shipped from there to customers. It seems like a small chain, but for someone who has worked alongside shipping companies for the last 20 years I know how easy it is for one little kink in that chain to make huuuuuge delays.

That is why they don't promise you'll see anything on the actual release date when you pre-order. All a pre-order does is reserve one in your name, when they become available.
