Nah, it'll have symphonic structure, symphonic form, not content (cheesy sympho kitch). IMO.

For the love of God don't change the name! This is quite sexcellent news. I'm impatient already. Damn, after I just getting over my Hummer-waiting-insanity and all... Ah well.

All the different parts of his work have divided for so long...

It'll be interesting to hear what he comes up with when he just focuses it all in one project.

It's (finally) a combi of syl and dtb, super heavy stuff, super pretty stuff, some ambient bits, some humor. No drummer...'drumkit from hell' (thanks Fred!)

On second thought: IS FREDRIK THORDENDAL A MEMBER OF THIS BOARD?

On third thought: The discription of this new album reminds me very much of Devin's planned epic "SYL" album with extensive song structures and quiet parts à la Opeth (anybody remember that Dev statement? I think it was pre-Alien).

I do. I was really into Blackwater Park at the time and I think Dev was listening to it too: He talked about doing an album that flowed in a similar manner.

By the way, it all sounds pretty interesting, Dev! Good luck trying to pull the Mighty Masturbator off.

finally Dev decided to make an album fully inspired by me

anyways...I can't wait to hear that...but where the hell does this man get all his inspiration from? Alien, TNB, Synchestra, Hummer (I've yet to hear that one, hopefully it'll arrive today) and now a 5th album during 2 years? that's insane.

I'm really looking forward to the first Dev album with Rayner playing on it
