Hey Dev, as far as the guitar tones on Addicted... is it going to be more along the lines of your DTB albums, like Synchresta, which i guess is Dual Rectifier? or is it gonna be a different sound? like what you did with Ki...

Also when you record guitars, do you crank the shit out of your amps, or do you play at a more moderate volume? just curious.

Well I hope what I read on your Twitter page was true....that you are dusting off the 5150 for crunchy tones. Being a 5150 diehard, I can't wait! You make that thing sound like no one I have ever heard before. Although, lately I have been grooving on my ADA mp-1.....What a f-ing classic! Best chorus ever...well, besides a JC-120.

I am still waiting for my copy of Ki too Amber, so I feel for ya.

I also got mine today...right before I had to leave for work. Getting to listen to it all the way through now, though. What an elegant record. Can't wait to hear Addicted now, too...etc etc...this is going to be a very good year.

I gotta comment on that, cause this month has been personally pretty fucking bad for me in a lot of ways, but there's great music coming out all the time with Ki being a big part of that and I can look to the future a bit more positively, cause I know there's great stuff coming out.

...Now if only Wintersun got Time done this year would be perfect...

Sorry to hear that you've had rough time! Keep focusing on the now and on the future and you'll start feeling better. Whenever bad stuff comes up, make a comitment to look forward instead. What can you do to ease the pain and worries? Perhaps go for a jog, read a good book, take a soothing bath or something. Get the batteries recharged and get up again! Summer is here dude!
