I thought this cat was crazy, but now I see it's nuts.

That. Is. Awesome.

Unfortunately, with downloading, there's not as much in terms of royalties as you may think, you'll have to hope people come to the photoshoot and buy a book :)

Although large sections of the KLF's Chillout album could lay claim to that genre 20 years ago.

On an entirely different tip: has anyone else noticed in the shot of the drumkit in the studio at 1:06 in the video, there is what looks like an NS-10 woofer suspended in front of the kick. Anyone hazard a guess as to what that is about? Nothing springs to my mind, although I am reminded of a story an old engineer once told me about recording a Sensational Alex Harvey Band album and all of the vocals came through the kick drum mic because AH found it easier to lie down and sing into the kick drum than stand up at his own mic.

Not that I am suggesting anything similar here, of course. It is a speaker, not Dev after all.

For the record, Yamaha makes a product called the Subkick which is basically what everyone has described—a big woofer that's used as a mic. The drummer of Jimmy Fallon's late night band (Questlove, of The Roots) uses one on the show.

Just listening to 'Terminal' now and simultaneously found these brilliant images of beaches on the Outer Hebrides (islands surrounding North Scotland)
