having a love for any and all music makes pretty much anything possible to come from dev. with his sobriety, it definately does seem like a fresh start, not an end. addicted has been in my cd player more than any other album (other than ziltoid) since its release, and im anticipating the next two albums will be no different. all of dev's material is fantastic, don't get me wrong. but everything released since ziltoid has been so addicting to listen to, and has such a different feel from the earlier devin townsend/strapping albums. i mean, the guy goes sober and creates what is one of my favorite albums ever released to date (ziltoid). i can only wonder what's next.

Honestly, I think it would be kind of cool if Dev, Dave, Beav, and RVP got together and just wrote a recorded an album as a band, just for the hell of it. Write up some songs, set up some mics, and just record. No overdubs, and minimal effects. As bare-bones as possible. Garage Dev.

They really should do a record of just jamming. That would be fuckin amazing.
