^good point, there's probably some truth to that!
I have nothing against "words" as a whole, because when it comes down to it, words are words, and they all have their useful purposes (even the ones we usually call "swearwords").
To be honest, overuse of swearwords in a serious manner seems to just indicate to me a negative mindset within the speaker, which I frown on more than the word choice. Words are words, but a person with a negative mindset and/or negative expectations can definitely produce a different result than someone with a positive mindset. What I mean by that is, someone with a negative mindset seems (at least to me) more likely to complain about something and do nothing about an issue (or make the wrong decision in dealing with the issue), whereas a person with a positive mindset seems more likely to stay solution-focused and attempt to solve the issue at hand in the best manner possible. The words that both people use are just byproducts of the way they think, so it's pointless to just be all-together against bad words. People can still be negative without swearing.
Of course, I guess the main reason some people are flat-out against swearing, is because swearwords can conjure up gross images in the minds of others, but that's just insecurity with who they are, I think
Nonetheless, my unwarranted philosophical shitfest is over, I need me some fucking sleep
Cheers to staying positive with the album, Dev! You the man
