Choosing this kind of stuff through the internet reviews can be risky. I bought a pair of Grados this way and I have to admit it was rather shitty investment.

grabbed a pair of Sennheisers HD 438 to replace aformentioned Grados. They look tacky as hell

But are cleverly designed (wire is detachable, supplied with long and short wire) and I hope they will be as realiable as my PX 100, which are bulletproof. Sound great too.

also bought a comfy chair.

Any size headphones make you look a douche in public. Not just you, anybody.

These are particularly douchey looking aren't they. But it wasn't advice, I was just boasting :). Bought them for home usage anyway.

Damn you and your money. ;) I've got some pretty old big ones for home use, it's nice to have some for when you want to surround yourself.

Didn't observe yet, maybe music wasn't right. I'm considering installation of blue LEDs though.

You'd need to get out of your head to observe that, presumably.

Which is what my generation did listening to Pink Floyd on headphones back in the day. Except me and the punk rock cats.
