Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

The 6 string guitar I have now is 25.5" scale. If I were to get a 7 string guitar, would you recommend sticking with a 25.5" scale, or getting a 27" or even 30"? (Does the longer scale offer better tone or somethin'?) (< 7 string n00b alert)

How much extra should I expect Agile to add on for a custom guitar? (if anything at all...) (Even if it's just "This guitar, but with this finish instead")

(@ Dan, was yours a custom Agile?)

^ Basically, I love some of the finishes on the 8 string guitars on the website (mainly the natural/wood ones)... like this, but with 1 less string, would be perfect:

And what about buying from the UK - Would I get a freakin' customs charge added? I know the guitars are pretty cheap anyways, but I hate how it comes out of the blue. I once ordered a CD from the US, but when it arrived at my local post office, royal mail wanted me to pay them an extra £15 for customs before I could receive it. (That's more than the CD itself...) (I refused, and left it with them to send back to America, and bought it from somewhere else instead).

My 6 string Fender just aint cuttin' it for mah metulz anymoar. Need a new beast in my hands, for reinvigorated inspiration.

...maybe I should just get that 8 string... *ponders* :P

Depends what tuning you want to do. For just BEADGBE 7-string you're fine with a 25.5". I have a 6-string 28" and I can go down to F if I want. 28" might even be overkill, 27" should do it. I live in Norway and it didn't cost me a thing to get Agile over here, I just paid the total amount that the Agile website gave me. Fucking supercheap. I lurb Agile.

Oooh nice one, I'll sig it :D
Thanks for the advice, but it's been a few years already since I last used a backpack (I mean on a regular basis), so I don't know, maybe it's genetic, maybe some unsuspected muscular tension for years (I even read a paper saying a teeth malocclusion may cause a leg being longer than another)
Mmh, makes me think to share a bit of not so known local folklore : the Dahu.

French pranksters state that catching a dahu involves having one person at the bottom of the mountain slope and one person who is good at making dahu sounds so as to gain the attention of the dahu so that it will turn around. When it does so, it loses its balance and rolls down the hill to the person with the bag at the bottom of the hill.

Sounds suspiciously like a haggis. They have two legs shorter on one side so they can walk round mountains in comfort.

Weird, brief google for "haggis" doesn't find any objects with legs. /brb switching universes.

I don't want to worry you, but you may have one mental leg shorter than the other.

I hope this is just bullshit propoganda, and not scientific fact.

Dude, everything increases risk for cancer. Eating fries, reading the newspaper, breathing, pooping, water, wearing socks. Staying away from things just for the fear of cancer seems like a silly way to live to me.

It's pointless, it's been proven that staying away from things gives you cancer. 100% fact.

I got cancer without having had oral sex, so for all I know oral sex prevents cancer.

Existing as a human being on this planet increases one's risk of developing cancer.

It's an old story that was once told to children and tourists for amusement.

It's not saying that oral sex causes cancer.

It's the HPV that increases the risk. Mass vaccination of young girls against HPV has been ongoing here for the past couple of years so presumably the incidence should fall within a decade or so.
