I had my first kid at 27, 2nd at 29. They're 10 and 8 now. I think I'm exactly the same age as Dev.
The worst anxiety of my life happened after the second kid was born. We were so giddy and "this is so cool" after the first, and after the second it really sunk in that part of my life was gone. All the details I guess don't matter but what you're going through is real common.
But here's the other thing. You're going to grow older and have to deal with change no matter what. Some of the things that dominate your life when you're 22 don't matter so much when you're 32. Kids have certainly helped me to know what my place in the world is, at least for now. I have friends without kids in their 30s that really are searching...it's beyond my experience because kids are so much of who I am.
