His voice is amazing on here. Seeing as we hadn't heard of this project until recently, and that Dev did the Rush tribute years ago, I figured this might have been something he had done back then, but it was shelved until now. Listening to it, it sounded almost like it was sometime during the Strapping years. However, Dev says it was recorded about 4 months ago. Damn. His voice is the strongest it has ever been.
I love this. It is silly and campy, and just fun. I love this side of Dev. I'd love for him to do more stuff like this. Plus, it gets the name out there some more. That never hurts.

Sinatra's probably spinning in his grave so hard the torque's disturbing Earth's rotation. But I love it, it's 100% Devin and it indeed sounds like something off SYL era 
It is that cocky, obnoxious and over-the-top guy from SYL, without the angst, and without the demons. It's like "Fuck you all, I'm singing a song! Deal with it!". Yet there is that sly little wink like "Nah, I'm just messing with you."

It doesn't sound like SYL, Dev's sarcastic, over-the-top performance is reminiscent of his approach in SYL, IMO. No reservations, just balls-out with attitude. It's playful and almost mocking, like "Is this guy serious?" It is that Ziltoid-esque persona, which really is an extension of that SYL guy, and all of it is just plain Devin.
