Like, do any of Devin's things depict something else that you know in pop culture or through your everyday life? This can be through any circumstances (such as always listening to Ki on the commute to work, Numbered! reminding you of that scene from Shawshank Redemption, or something like that).

"Coast" makes me think of that part of Half-Life 2 where you ride the capsule through the citadel to meet Dr. Breen. Seriously, start Coast at the beginning of this video and tell me that it doesn't sync up.

"Earth Day" makes me think of playing Earthbound. Which is ODDLY fitting, IMO. Devin and Earthbound work well together.

It's really weird, but often when I listen to Ziltoid, especially Hyperdrive, Solar Winds and N9, I think of this place.

Simple explanation: I was listening to Ziltoid while taking the photos... but it's just weird, considering I drive pass that place with the bus rather often, and listened to Ziltoid a lot both before and after that little shoot.

Oh yeah... and Hyperdrive always makes me think of this beloved screensaver:

Pieces of Ocean Machine make me think about the map 'hugeass' in Halo Custom Edition.

Things beyond things reminds me of my highschool years so bad (partly cause i had OM on repeat)

Uhh, Well I know the song "Down and Under" makes me think of my country (Australia), simply cause of the name .

Movie wise, I've found "Bastard" to connect well with the movie "Donnie Darko" lately. The song's dark mood and lyrics work well with what happens in the movie. AND...

The scene in LOTR "The Return of the King". Where Theoden starts to clash with the orcs with the rest of his army, quickly play "War", it is SO FREAKING EPIC .

I've also found Project EKO from Accelerated Evolution great to play whilst playing Portal 2 .

fucking LOVE portal 2! played it last night for a couple hours for the 1st time. it's hilarious and so satisfying when solving a puzzle.

The start of Praise the Lowered reminds me of the music from Portal 2, which I had just finished the day I first heard it.

Often, I sit behind my laptop listening to music while doing stupid computer games or making puzzles on the internet... The fact is, I am actually evading this stuff while listening to Devin, because I do not want any stupid associations connected to the beautiful music... You know what I mean?

Of course, some of Devin his albums are connected to valuable memories; Addicted reminds me of the ultimate freedom that I experienced by leaving home and moving to my first own room! For me, it was released at the perfect moment!

Granted ultimately you'll associate them with a particular time in life, but seeing as I've only heard Decon within the last week I don't really have anything else significant to connect it to.
