Yep, you lot are in the clear. We all post live performances from time to time.

Not sure if he was ever a "fan," but I'm sure he has enjoyed some of their stuff. He has used, and still uses some of the EVH gear. He used to use the 5150 amps, and he has used a VH Ernie Ball Music Man guitar for recording. He uses an EVH phase pedal now, too.

i have tix for the melbourne show, not too keen on the venue, was hoping showgrounds or flemmington, coulda walked there then. Still its a dream come true for the teenager in me, as plpinkham said(ish) earlier in this thread, 'Van Halen were my world as a teen', and for me its the same, so to have a day when i can go to a festival that has Devy, VH and Gojira on the bill is pretty sweet. Am going with 2 of my oldest friends, could get ugly!

OOOOOoooooo, just had a thought, Gojira and Dev at same fest would surely bode well for a rendition of Sumeria with Joe Duplantier singing his bit.

Ok, just recently looked again at the line up, and I am quite tempted to go, despite the ticket price. Still, any news of a sideshow would be good; hell, I might go to both!

Yar, I just ordered 2 tickets for me and a mate to go and see the mighty Dev in Brisbane, I'm so freakin excited . First big time concert/festival event too for me, so its definitely a must go. Along with Van Halen, Machine Head, Gojira and loads more, I'm really really looking forward to seeing this .

Hopefully I can meet Dev too, maybe even get him to sign my future Ghost cd that I'll have purchased next week, YAY.

I'm not too fussed to go to the festival, but if Dev does sideshows I might consider it. It'd be cool to see Decon songs live.

Can't go wrong at all with Van Halen, Dev and Gojira on the same bill. I have been a bit of a Van Halen fan over the years (even got a logo tattoo) however Dev has been my new Ed over the last ten or so years. Hopefully Dev is not playing at the same time as VH, as VH will take precedence as I have only seen them the couple times in 1998.

Being a Geelong AFL fan I am hoping that I will need to keep it low key in preparation for the Grand Final the next day!
