Bands and environmental activists. :P
I'm not going to get into any arguments here, but good on Gojira! Whether they're releasing it to raise money for Sea Shepherd or for any of the bzillion charities around...Good of them to have the gall to help out a cause they believe in. :)

Oh and the track? It's fucking godly. Mmm.

I very much disagree with whaling, but I also have issues with some of Sea Shepherd's methods so I'll just enjoy the music.

Awesome. I got into Gojira relatively late, about which I'm still beating myself up. Dev's voice just takes the heaviness to another level, and Fredrik is just Fredrik.

Here's to Dev and Joe on Special Defects II!

I wonder if Devin wrote his vocal parts and lyrics as he demanded when he joined the Ayreon project?

The Japanese, Norwegians and Icelanders mainly hunt mink whales which are not endangered at all. The hunting methods have improved( I'm not saying that every whale dies instantly but most do). I wonder whether people that are against whaling are also against the exploitation of land mammals, because there are similarities. Well, maybe this thread shouldn't become too political, I'm off for some whale kebab *cough*...
