Just received this from Mark Bräutigam from InsideOutShop:

we are doing the best to send out all the preorders in time. But, they are a lot and they have only been available (for us, too) since Monday. I cannot promise you to have it on Thursday, since Thursday is a public holiday here in Germany.

I am very sorry for the delay. But at the moment I am alone here in the shop and there is quite a lot to do.

But didn't I make the pre-order, so I could have my albums on release-date?

Did they say that you would receive it on the release date? There are so many variables when it comes to ordering anything. When they receive their shipment, whether or not they received the correct shipment, whether or not those responsible for receiving the shipment show up for work on time, etc. Even if they get it early and ship it early, then you have to depend on the post operating smoothly, the package not being misplaced, bad weather, the package being delivered to the correct address, etc.

This is why almost every company has the "6 to 8 weeks for delivery" message somewhere. I believe CM Distro said something about possibly getting the CD's on release day, but it could also take up to 5 weeks for delivery.

The only thing pre-ordering guarantees is that you will have a copy reserved for you, and not that you will receive it by a specific time unless they specify that is the case.

In that case, you and everybody else on this forum.

So probably not. :)

Ditto, thats what I thought but at the end of the day I wasn't sure if the album was even going to show up in NZ stores - nor am I sure if the lads are going to tour to NZ so I take what I get. The thing that had me worried was that the release date passed and I never got any sign that the transaction was progressing, butttttt.... my order status has just changed to DELIVERED!

EXCITE!

I got mine in a big box and along with all the stuff I ordered there was also a signed copy of the Adicted CD incert, and a cardboard sleve that looks about the size or a small vynl record that had the DTP logo on it with a bunch of red dots on the front and a heart on the back. I think the CD incert was marked 1998 at the top. Now I think I remember something about Dev signing 2000 of these for preorders and stuff but i could be wrong. And whats up with that bigger cardboard sleve thingy? Is that hand drawn by devin or something? It looks like it was something when Adicted came out. Did anyone else get this stuff to or did I just luck out?

i got the same stuff. thought it was kinda pointless getting a 2nd signed addicted booklet but whatever.

so did anyone download the itunes albums to get the bonus tracks? radial highway i can wait for but the preview to ho krll sounds so awesome, don't know if i can wait till the boxset comes out but it's "album only" otherwise i'd DL that one track. >:(

So you have to purchase the entire album on Itunes to get the bonus track?

I am awaiting the arrival of the Ultimate Bundle or whatever it's called from CMDistro. I kinda wanna buy the Itunes albums though for those bonus tracks...

My order finally changed to DELIVERED - But I won't have it before the end of next week, as I leave the country for a week early morning tomorrow...
After a year and a half of waiting, I can probably wait another one week!
