When the albums have been online as leaks (and will almost certainly get posted even more now they're released) news like your post makes me have a little faith in people still a) caring and b) doing the right thing.

It's like a small note to the record industry that if good music is made by good people & the fans are not patronised nor milked then they will get cold hard cash through their doors. That's gotta be worth something, right?

Still nothing from CMDistro in my mailbox........eff.

Just checked my account on Inside Out website and my status has changed from "Pending" to "DELIVERED" althought I have had no email confirmation to tell me it has been despatched , so fingers crossed , still looking at recieving it sometime next week tho , but at least I know it's on it's way now , all be it a week late

I totally agree with you. I wasn't all that surprised to hear that the records are doing well though. Everywhere I've seen Decon or Ghost related content, people have been commenting that they really wanted to buy a copy and I've never seen that with other releases. I know this has been talked about time and time again, but I hope that people are regaining interest in physical copies of the music they enjoy, just to have the full intended experience. There is nothing like buying a new CD or LP and having the physical piece of art in your hands, and having the feeling of gratification that you have given something back to the artist. Especially if its one as deserving as our own Hevy Devy!

Same here. I placed my order on May 19, and still haven't received my CDs (or even a "hey, your order has shipped!" notice). I emailed those assholes this morning (orders@cmdistro.com), and the reply I received said it shipped out on 6/17 via the always-reliable and efficient ( ) USPS. So it's taken over a week for it to get from California (presumably) to Chicago. Ridiculous. I will never order anything from CM Distro again. Had I ordered via Amazon like I always do, both CDs would have arrived on the release date. Fucking record labels. They are, like old people, no good at everything.

Everything I order comes via USPS and gets here pretty damn fast... unless I order from CM Distro.

I'm not ordering from there again either. I've already purchased new copies locally myself, and plan to put the other cds on ebay when they come in (or maybe give them to a buddy of mine. I kinda need the money though).

Whether it arrives today or not, I think I'm just gonna go buy them at Best Buy (ugh) or whatever and return the CMDistro ones unopened for a full refund. Of course then I'd still have to pay postage, but at least it'd be $25 of mine that those knobs would be denied.

Ehhh, i'm glad I preordered, and I didn't expect it on my doorstep on release date, but it sure is taking longer than I would have liked. I'm pretty happy to wait since I'm getting preorder bonuses and such though.

I really didn't have a choice. We don't have any place in town that carries Devin's stuff, so I have to order it anyway, pre-order or not.
