Dev's response of VIP prices;
Hey guys, I don't know what to say about the vip prices. Apparently last time, the companies were pissed because it was undercutting others. The response I got was 'this is by far the cheapest of all our other bands' again, I didn't really have much to do with it. I'm going to figure out something on my own to make it worth it for the people who invest in it. I know it's expensive, I wouldn't blame you if you passed on it. I'll figure out something special for those who come on my own. Cheers, thats all I know right now...

Don't quite understand or believe this; 'this is by far the cheapest of all our other bands' but regardless, it's very clear that Dev is not the bad guy here.

It means that other bands with VIP packages have them around that price. If say, Dev's VIP package was $40 and Opeth's was $150, people are gonna have a hissy fit over why Opeth's is so expensive. It isn't; Dev's was just too cheap. If they all dramatically lowered their prices, then somewhere along the line, someone's getting a bum wrap. I'm just thinking as a business point of view instead of a fan, yeah we all want a cheaper package (including Mr T), but the folks helping Dev out have been totally decent and they can't do it for nothing.
I'm probably not gonna make a few friends saying this, but I don't think it's gonna alienate the geninue fans. If you want something enough you're not gonna really think about the price, you're just gonna go for it then live off supernoodles for two months. Liiiiiiiiiike myself.

Well, it's going to alienate the genuine fans who can't afford it. Or who are cheapskates.

Liiiiiiiiiike myself. ;)

This, although not to the same extent.

But I also like too much stuff, so my budget is all over the place.

Stop liking too much stuff then! :P You're CLEARLY not a genuine fan if you have more interests than Dev's music :B

...in all seriousness, I have a bargain-bin taste in horror films, I don't smoke, I don't go out drinking, I'm obsessed with the London Dungeon which I get into for free anyways, I'm in love with working which kinda does the opposite of draining funds and knitting is hardly an expensive hobby :P God, I've just highlighted how much of a loser I am...
