The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

^I kinda agree with that. I have never actually done a mix CD for anyone. I just flat out give them the album I think they should listen to. And on a good number of occasions it has worked. A mix CD is interesting in the sense that they can then check the album, which had the songs they liked best I guess. And as some people have mentioned, a single song can do the trick to get you hooked if it just happens to be just the thing they wanna hear. Has worked on me.

I wasn't sure about posting this... considering it's kind of crap... but I made this video recently, so I could give it to people who are new to Dev's music:

I even made it specifically for non-metalheads in mind. :P
It's not a best-of or a collection of favourites.... just.. uuuuh... nice songs that came to mind!

Considering you were pulling FLVs and mashing them back into their nonnative format and then back on to y00t00b, then you should expect SOME difficulty.

Ok, so here's pretty much the final list, but still need to cut out one of the longer songs to fit it. So:

Seventh Wave
Life
Funeral
Christeen
Bad Devil
Earth Day
Nobody's Here
Kingdom
Slow Me Down
Gaia
Hyperdrive
Coast
Supercrush!
Blackberry
Radial Highway
Juular

So as much as it pains me, I've decided I either need to cut Funeral, Kingdom, or Gaia. Those are the songs that are long that I think could be cut and not necessarily ruin the mix, as amazing as they are. Just some reasoning behind the changes: I took out Deep Peace because I feel like it's similar to Earth Day and, at least for the purposes of this mix, doesn't allow for another more different song so I put Nobody's Here back in. I took out Vampolka/Vampira becuase I agree it does sort of repeat Bad Devil. Gaia seemed to be a more "engaging song." The Greys I cut for length, and because as much as I loved it I think Hyperdrive does the job.

I've learned many, many years ago that "loaning" CD's to a friend is actually just giving them the CD's, 'cause you'll never see them again. And if you do see them again, I guarantee they will not be in the same condition in which they were loaned.
