...my point is, download =/= lost money. Loyal fans will pay enough to hear anything they love, especially when what they love to hear is made by a humble person who cares more about the music than money.

This conversation has come up plenty. No one necessarily disagrees, but even Dev has stated these forums, as they are an official extension of his site, have to function a bit differently than his personal philosophy.

Obviously the loyal fans will buy whatever, I'm buying a copy of Terrorizer once I actually get over there, but that doesn't mean it's alright to directly share on here before the issue is no longer relevant.

I'd rather not have to go through this every time something new comes out, but it just has to be done. End of discussion.

Well the song has escaped the confines of all the responsible people that bought it, and it's making its rounds inside the intertubes. It's a whopper of a tune Makes me think of what City might sound like if Devin tried to re-write it today.

How the Hell am I just hearing about this now. I've been off the forum for a while, but I follow Dev on FB and Twitter... damn!

Now I need to track this down. Getting the mag in Canada might be a bit tricky though. Looks like Legalsounds are selling each track for $0.09, but I've heard bad things about that site, in that none of the money goes to the original artist.

Damn, when I moved away from the UK 7 years ago it seemed like no-one had ever heard of Dev. Now he seems insanely popular.

It's so cool, most bands I like I'll skim through the mags in Sainsbury's before considering purchase (cause I'm hard like that) then have a mini stroke if I see their name mentioned...these days Dev's plastered all over Metal Hammer and Terrorizer and it's just "AVERAGE DAY" *throws in the trolly*

Oh man, I've scoured the internet but can't seem to find this track ripped anywhere. Looks like I'll be paying over $20 to ship a copy to Canada. Ahh, the things I'll do to get more Dev!

Well, venues that are good enough. I still dream of him playing heavy special effects ridden shows to stadiums full of people, The Roundhouse with The Retinal Circus seems like a good start to that kind of thing. His popularity is definitely rising in Europe, now we just we need it to go up in North America and hopefully other territories too.

Yeah, but there is something to be said for more intimate gigs in smaller clubs, where you can actually get up to the barricade and actually talk to the artist after the show. Big stadium gigs can be so sterile, and the band doesn't even usually attempt to come close to the fans.
