Yeah, I found it very turgid and dynamically constrained which lead to an overall feeling of "sameyness" that made it hard to pay attention to the music. My wife came to the same conclusion. Now the fault definitely isn't the songwriting as it is varied and constantly changing but the overall sound is that of grey soup. The music itself is of course very good but what is music if not sound? If that sound is hamstrung the the music is stifled. I can't have been the only person to be disappointed or else why remaster the albums so soon after release? Maybe Dev can chime in on this if he doesn't mind.

I can't think of the mix being better than it already is. Then again, I'm no producer, but while it was hard to get all details I can't think of any better way to mix everything up without sounding noisy.

Aaaargh, the Century Media webstore is listing the boxset as out of stock, despite the fact that international preorders should be made available today! Surely it will be made available again, right?

Thank you for the welcome. I work from home, so one of the benefits was being able to repeatedly press ‘F5’ on OMerch and Insideout web-stores every-day, all day! I know, very sad.
It does not explicitly say the lithograph is signed but I’d imagine it is. You even get a DTP patch to sew onto the denim waistcoat too - heavy metal!

On the downside, €20 postage to Ireland is steeeeeeeeeeeep. And do InsideOut charge you right away on pre-orders or when the item ships, I wonder... Spose I better jump on this anyway just in case I miss out altogether.

Agreed - I'm in Wales, so 102Euro was a bit of a shocker! I tried to find out the T&C were with regards to pre-order payments (and cancelling if OMERCH was better), but all in German. Believe the 18Euro postage is insured via UPS.

And they DO charge immediately. Bollocks. I hope this doesn't come back to bite me in the arse... 102 quid is a shitlot of money. If Omerch works out cheaper I really hope cancelling this isn't a monumental pain in the ass.

Inside germany it's only 5 euro for shipping, so 90 EUR for the deluxe package. Got it and canceled the amazon-order which was 72 EUR for the normal package (now it's at 75 EUR, but without shipping cost inside germany).

I was hoping to get one from CM today as it works out way cheaper to Australia (haven't had issues with them either). Inside out works out to be about 25% more expensive with shipping and everything. But now CM is out of stock? I hope they're just in the process of making it available internationally, not actually completely out. Frustration!

Yeah, that is probably the main reason I went with InsideOut.
Thought I'd eat the extra cost to avoid supply uncertainties with CM, and also to actually spread the demand around; seeing as most folk here will probably order via CM.
It means one more is available there than could otherwise be the case.

Oh, and I've yet to be charged.
