I just don't get the whole dressing-up-vegetable-matter-as-animal-flesh thing. Seems contrary to the whole vego concept.

And mushrooms are one of life's joys. The last thing I'd want to do is make them taste like something else.

I don't get that either. But I do believe that if they're going to make vegetarian meats, they should just label them "chicken", "sausages", "meatballs", sarcastic quotes included.
