I'm a bit late, but congrats Juz! :D

As for my plainly awesomeness to report, my wife is home from a 5 day stay in the hospital. She had a kidney infection, kidney stone, and E-Coli all slam her at once, out of nowhere. It was a really rough ride and I slept (barely) at the hospital 4 out of those 5 nights. However, she is home now and has had no negative symptoms for 24 hours! I can barely contain my happiness!

Thanks mate.

I'm really pleased to hear that your wife is home and feeling greatly improved.

That's quite the perfect storm of ailments, she must have felt deeply awful.

Here's to health and happiness!

Nice one Stu! I really hope it goes well for you. :D

On a personal note, I just submitted an application to study a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the university down the road from us. Basically to become a primary school teacher. The folk there are pretty confident I'll win a place given I've studied at another uni previously. Fingers crossed!

Quick update, and sorry for the double post.

I got my first preference and start next March. Hooray!

Holy crappers. I just received an email from the module leader/lecturer in one of the psychology modules I am doing.
Basically he told us, the students that the marks for our essays (weighing 40% of the entire module) was up, and that most scored around 63, with only 6 (out of 50) scoring 70 and above. Considering how I rushed the conclusion of my essay, and how mediocre last term's essay marks were... I felt really nauseous as I was looking for my mark.

I got a 76 mark. :o
Eek!

Nice one! Those sorts of pleasant surprises always put a spring in the step.

Well deserved, I'm sure.
