For some reason, I really hope the booklet comes with a picture of them both pulling funny faces.

The cover? Did I miss something? Or did you mean the picture? From what I understand that's a promo shot, not the cover.
Still a cool shot :D

Im excited for the pledge campaign for Casualties. I'll be tagging the streets up (in chalk!) with links and his name and the whole shebang. People will probably be pissed off with me and/or Devin by the time I'm done with them. Also this was another tweet from Devin a few days ago regarding the sound of Casualties. I know it changes sometimes drastically, but I thought this was an interesting description. Also saw that no one else had mentioned it thus far:

"Had a buddy listen to Casualties, and among his comments were 'cosmic country' and 'evil Chris Issak' as well as many confused looks :)"

Even with teasers and descriptions from Devin, it's a bit difficult to picture what the finished product may sound like without thinking about other albums. Suits me, I like to be surprised.

I have not seen or heard anything from this disc 2 (I did order the physical copy of the 2-disc version). Is it available as a digital download as well already?

^The 2nd disc is also available on the Pledge site for download, yes.

It's very lovely. I can't believe Dev kept 'Perspective' away from us for that long. :p

That Gracenote thing iTunes uses is telling me that disc 2 of Casualties was actually recorded by 70s Prog Rock group, Yes.
