You guys make the music alive. I tend to live in a bubble, but coming out of it every now and again to meet, work with, and talk to people about the same things...(especially over the internet where physical shit doesn't get in the way of proceedings), makes me realize how vital each and every one of you is to each and every song.

As I'm getting older, the music is flowing stronger. Life is so wierd that music is a no-brainer...It's what I'm cleaning the cat box and taking out the recycling in order to get a chance to do.

Thanks for the opportunity to play for you. I'll keep rockin, and I ain't ever planning on stoppin'.

Love,

The Dev.

You're trying to make me cry aren't you, you bastard! :)

Dear The Dev:

There's something innately special about having your single favourite artist in the world being someone you can meet at an album signing at Scrape, or after a concert at one of several local venues, or even at the local IHOP. Mainstream music fans simply cannot understand the attachment to the true artist... casual, yet so special. You rock. What you give to the world, or at least the unique few who appreciate it, is the gift of your overflowing spirit (that is, at least according to Nietzsche, as cheesy as it sounds). For me, and many others here, it's the best music in the world.

And, on top of that, you're a hilarious fucking frontman. I'd pay just to watch you behind a microphone. It's ALWAYS a good show...

So here I lose my DT Forum-virginity.
I discovered Accelerated Evolution about half a year ago and ever since it's been part of my power play list. It's really amazing how one single record can change one's life so much. The album is just so... well, I guess everybody here already know, no need to waste my precious (?) time writing useless shait...

It's also amazing to see that there are people all over the world writing on this forum. This isn't a fanbase anymore, it's a goddamn cult.

There are simply not enough words I can think of to thank you, but still I want to try. From the bottom of my heart: thank you so much.

Thank you, Devin. You're a helping hand through all good and bad times. When I'm down, you always send out a ray of light to me. When I'm up you take me higher. You inspire me when writing my own music and lyrics. I'm writing like a seven year old :D

God dammit! Visit Sweden with DTB soon! Come to Gothenburg and kick our asses!

Who is this Devin character you speak of? You mean this isn't the queue for free hotdogs?

seriously though - you should post a little more regularly dt if you can - it lights up our worlds - as you can see.

Both Truth and Unity have made me cry. I'm a guy and not afraid to admit it. Your music has affected me very deeply. Sometimes while listening to Unity, I think of my recently passed grandmother, who was the kindest, most caring person I ever met. She never asked for anything and always gave more than she should have.

I hear Truth and think of what it must be like if an afterlife exists. I see thousands of people ascending through endless clouds, draped in incredibly long, flowing clothing, the fantastically long tails of the cloth shimmering an almost blinding golden-white behind as they fly ever-skyward. Yah, it sounds incredibly cheesy, but not when I listen to those songs and can see it so clearly. I feel so overwhelmingly at peace and brimming with contentment. I've fallen asleep many times listening to Unity, and sometimes a tear will slip out as I'm untethering from reality into a dreamscape. God, I love that feeling. Thank you so much, Devin, for creating something that can make me feel so full of life. Something that makes me smile with complete honesty.
