I think you will find that there are nearly 2400 people registered here...and a lot of them dont even have an avatar.

Make sure it is the right size!

"The width can be no greater than 120 pixels, the height no greater than 140 pixels, and the file size no more than 49 KB."

So you may need to resize whatever you are trying to use. Mayyyyyyyybe.
