I put in my two weeks notice in a couple days ago at Wal-Mart because of all the threats I've gotten from management about not being productive (which is total bullshit). I went into work yesterday, and the damn deparment manager told me that the co-manager heard that I put in my two weeks notice, and he said that if i dont be more productive for the next two weeks we are going to fire you today. Also she told me "don't think that you've done anything for us because you haven't."
They didnt start bitching at me until I told them I have another part time job and need some of my hours changed. They told me Wal-Mart is #1 and its my top-priority.
I also had one manager told me to quit, if i cant do the job. I have health problems for crying out loud, i have a pacemaker, had one implanted at the age of 10 and they dont believe me cause i'm too young.

No sweat WB. Show 'em some medical evidence and if need be - tell them to go take a flying frag and concentrate on exploiting low-paid workers in China...which they seem to be doing quite nicely...

I quit my job last night. I still have a part-time job at a radio station so i wont be badly broke but thats nothing what they are doing to people in china.
I watched a show about wal-mart treating the workers in china badly in its factory. All for lower prices. Which is total BS. I think they are getting paid buy pennies on the hour working 6 sometimes 7 days a week.
Now that they've shipped their factories to china other companies are having to do the same to keep Wal-Mart as a customer to their factories and those factories are probably treated those people the same aswell.
