it might just be something I was around at the time, or it could be something weird in my mind again. I started listening to one of the riffs in "I" by meshuggah and I suddenly pictured black and white in my head. then I listened to catch 33 which seemed pretty dark green. then synchestra seemed a deep purple. right now I'm attempting to use this to my advantage so I can create music in lots of different colours =]. but either way, is there anyone else that views music this way?
Yep, same way for me. Lots of Meshuggah's stuff (mostly "I") just sounds pitch black to me, they're the only band that seems to be devoid of color in that way to my ears. Synchestra, purple... I can see that, actually. I usually have trouble picking out what color it is in my mind, as there seem to be so many. I'd say maybe brown, red, green, purple, and beige. Sometimes an album's cover art gives me a bias in the matter, but yeah, I almost always associate a color to an album or song, whether consciously or not.
i do.

and google says: no you didn't make it up, but you may have not remembered what it actually was but got it right through luck

wikipedia on the other hand says: "no you're WRONG" with a big fat, bold "No page with that title exists."

indeed it can, it makes me feel unspecial =[

Play from your fucking heart.
I decided to take all the colours I perceived to be in the songs in synchestra and did a total majority vote with myself and it came out purple. Gaia for example is a pretty purple track, as is A Simple Lullaby, although it's a very dark purple and also Babysong
yes, I'd agree to a point that triumph was pretty yellowish, but I think personally it gets a deeper green when it gets to the solo
Nothing by meshuggah seemed so undoubtedly orange. I think, because the band also see colour in music, that played a part in the album cover. but then again, not everyone sees it the same way, but I think maybe it was so extremely orange that people would've thought it as orange anyway
