If you had to isolate about 30 seconds out of any song, and play them out of the song's original context - which would it be?

My pick goes to: Led Zeppelin - Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You (6:41) starting at about 2:07

Deep Peace - "It's all going away now, all going away now. Going, going, gone...."

Been my favourite 30 secs since 2001.

maybe not the best ever, but certainly worth a mention:

shitstorm - the part where he yells "you want crazy? you want fucking crazy? i'll show you how to be crazy!" and so on, when the music turns all slow and huge with that inhuman scream above it. that part is massive.

Hell yes. I sing it in my head during periods of insane frustration, a frequent & recent occurrence tied to some college-related BULLSHIT.

Then I punch a wall and generally feel better afterwards (excluding hand).

The last 30 seconds of Things Beyond Things. You can stick it on the end of anything, and it'll still scare the bollocks off yeh. Oh how I do love that goddamn scream. :D

That's definitely one for me.

Another is in the massively underrated We Ride. When Dev's like: "What the FUCK was that?! I'm being completely rational!! I'M NOT YELLING! etc." Then "PUT IT IN GEAR MOTHERFUCKERS!" That part always gives me chills..

From about 1:18 to the end of Greetings.

That vocal harmony is so epic it's... superhuman.

Dynamics, from 1:36 to about 0:55. Dev sings his fucking arse off, and it's.. well, it's beyond words.
