After about the fifty thousanth time I've listened to this damn album I finally get it. This is an absolute milestone in music people. Perdition City was mindblowing but this is just something...new. Never heard anything even remotely close to this before in my life and I think the reason that many people don't get it is simply because this music is just WAY before its time.

I mean seriously, this is pop music in the year 2060. An absolute cornerstone in art and creation. And even though its kind of frustrating to hear people rag on it and even call if a piece of shit, I get why its so controversial. You can't blame certain people for not latching on to its difficult nature (this really is a fucking HARD album to listen to) because most people aren't willing to put in the time to dive into it. So it flies over their heads, understandable.

I guess the point of my little rant is that Ulver's Blood Inside is genius, untouched, unparelled music. And frankly, I'm having a hard time listening to alot of other stuff now. It isn't just an experiement here, this is fucking evolution

Phew...sorry about that
Had to get that out for some reason

Yeh its certainly is awesome. I'd say it must be one of the most layerd albums ever, so many sounds and little intracracies in there.

I really was blown away from the first listen, so anyone who ever says it's rubbish is just wrong and obviously smells! ;) and I'm really not serious about that, so please don't anyone take offence

Absolutely agreed that, I'm not saying anything I've not said before her, but I don't think it can be said enough how amazing that album is!

It is amazing., however parts of it remind me of a lot of 70's psychprog. A lot of ulver reminds me of coil too. Certainly though this is very important album for modern music in my opinion.

I agree on all counts, definately.

For as much as it is an awesome work of art, I still turn it up loud and bang my head when 'the heavy bit' comes on during It Is Not Sound.

Really looking forward to the next step in the evolution of this band.

Definitely a great album. Parts of it have really sunk in, but I still have to give a lot of it more listens... Certainly the kind of sound that creeps up on you. "It Is Not Sound" and "Operator" are my favorite tracks at the moment.

I was also completely floored upon the first listen. It just slams you.

yeah, Ulver does tend to get overrated a little bit (ie. a lot... i mean they don't have the biggest following, but their fans are in love with them for whatever reason).

They are good.
