Transformers again. I don't give a fuck about the gay ass love story...that was fucking weak, but the fighting....AWESOME.

Live Free or Die Hard. Never seen any of the other movies, but it was entertaining for what it was. Dragged on a bit though, I thought.

Stranger than fiction - I thought it was a great movie, felt really nice and open minded. Will Ferrell actually acts so it's cool. Fun little story and great, unexpected special effects throughout. One of the best films I've seen recently, loved it! :D

Ocean's Thirteen.... Pretty decent movie. A lot better than the second one.
Al Pacino and Andy Garcia took me back to Godfather III.
Entertaining, but maybe a little farfetched story. Had a couple of laughs, and well, it's a cast of amazing actors, which is always nice to watch.

The Brave Little Toaster.
I just saw it yesterday-- I'd completely forgotten about this movie for over a decade, and the childhood memories and nostalgia that came rushing back when I heard the name mentioned the other day was just insane. It used to be one of my favorite movies when I was little, I think I last saw it when I was like... five or six, maybe. Can't really remember much from back then. I remember it scaring me a lot when I was young though, especially when Air Conditioner gets all paranoid near the beginning and starts yelling and screaming and blows a fuse. That scene haunted me for quite awhile, I recall.

It's actually really dark for a children's movie... Particularly the song in the junkyard with all the cars singing about their previous lives and being crushed into tiny cubes by the trash compacter (Youtube link, no major spoilers), that song had to have been stuck somewhere in my subconscious all these years, I think. Still kinda disturbs me today.

Ahh, I'm obsessed. :D It's become my favorite movie again though, after somehow being forgotten all these years... No question about it. I'm weird like that, I guess.

Lastly, a cheesy little video I discovered on youtube (because I'm lame), made from clips of the movie: (possible spoiler warning)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V14X1sVJ9Q

Ahh, nostalgia. Gonna watch the movie again today, I think.

(Yes, it's occurred to me how ridiculous this post might look to someone who doesn't have any nostalgia for the movie. I still stand by everything I've said though, I adore the film so much :P )

I saw this movie long ago but I can´t recall much from the youtube videos.
Its really long ago and probably because I´ve seen the german version.

And now I remember a lot of movies I´ve seen as a child wich totally scared me. Like this "Glücksbärchis" (I think they´re called "Care Bears" in english) movie with this scary book. Or the movie with the Labyrinth and David Bowie. :?

I was easily affected by movies as a child...

Yeah, I think generally people are... It's amazing how much influence such things have on our older selves. I'm sure that song from Brave Little Toaster inspired a lot of my music in some way, seeing as it gives me such an odd sense of nostalgia (impossible to describe, really)... I vaguely remeber Care Bears from waaaay back, but not much. Some stuff didn't make much of an impact on me I guess.

I always have this nostalgie feeling by most the songs of Meat Loaf and Queen. The song from brave little toaster even vaguely reminds me of Meat Loaf.

That's because David Bowie's pants were scary.

And I saw "Brain Donors" recently. Blatant Marx bros copy, but best laugh I had in a long time. Final scene of disrupting ballet performance is just priceless, almost pissed myself. Highly recommended, you don't have that much quick, slapstick movies these times. And when I write quick I really mean _quick_ - John Turturro is machine gun loaded with oneliners.
