That &$%^($* Transformers movie... what a train-wreck. I'd rather watch House Party 1 till 3 over and over again.

On the other hand, The Prestige; that's a awesome movie.

Amen to that... I have never seen a crappy movie from the man.
Anyway, back on topic.

Just came back from watching 1408 (and a night of heavily drinking afterwards).
It's an okay movie, but I expected something more, because I know the original audio story. There are some decent scares, and the whole atmosphere is creepy, but it lacks a real thread to follow. The acting was okay, John Cusack does a pretty good job, Samuel L. Jackson has been cast totally random.
It's a shame for the "Hollywoodisms" that have been added to the original story, to give the movie (probably) some speed, but too much speed if you ask me. I love psychological horrors, but I'd prefer Silent Hill, Event Horizon or The Shining above this one.

3/5

haha, I've seen Transformers 3 times...TAKE THAT, Transformers-movie haters!!!

Anyway, I watched Fracture.....it was fucking horrible. It starred Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling...I had no idea who that Ryan dude is and I expected WAY WAY WAY better out of Sir Anthony. I felt let down.

I'm just waiting for the DRAGONLANCE movie...out Fall 2007!!

I know I'm a nerd.

I edited this about a million times since I can't seem to spell any fucking word correctly today.

The guy who constantly stresses that he dislikes movies has probably more posts in this thread than anyone else... Interesting!

As far as Bale is concerned, I hope I'll get the chance to see him in "Rescue Dawn" soon. I know that it's a movie based on real events and characters, but it's still funny that the person he plays is actually called "Dieter"

Anyway, definitely one of my favourite actors.
