On the Christian Bale front, I loved Reign of Fire, despite its flaws.

I dug his character.

Pan's Labyrinth

Finally!

And yes, it was even better than I expected it to be!

Realistic characters (The Captain, Ofelia's mum, Mercedes..) really made me feel for them, Captain mainly just negatively, but a feeling is a feeling.

Dark atmospheres, landscapes, music..
Wow!
Really a mind-hugging, heart braking story.
I did shed a tear at the end, first time movie makes me so sad!
(Tears of frustration ("oh my god, why doesn't this movie end
already!" (said during Pearl Harbor)" don't count.)

Also I really gotta give points for using actor for Pan and Pale man,
since all this computers rock- thing has gotten into everybody.
Understandably some things (faeries, Pan's legs, etc) need some help
to come alive (legs, to life, haha), but great costumes win hi-tech
special effects 100-0.

I can't give Pan a whole 10, since I hoped it would have
more magical elements and more action in the other world.
But it is magnificent as it is, totally a remarkable movie!
I can see why it has gotten so many good reviews and
awards and nominations.

Absolutely 9,5/10.

And the Pale man? Oh my whatever, but he came into my dreams!

yeah pans labyrinth is cool. 'Pan' the character is really cool looking, and since he talking spanish it makes him more mysterious.

i watched 'Without a Paddle' the other day. mediocre american teen mild comedy. i was a bit baked tho, so i seemed to find it extremly intreguing.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you. The last half was sooooo boring. I actually started laughing at one point. I give it a 4/10

Number 23

I love Jim Carrey.
He always appeals to me, but in this film I found him
distracting, sorta scary and unpredictable.
Which is fine considering the movie.

I've heard a lot of dudes freaking out after seeing this movie,
and I have to admit, in some curious way I want to count things too!

But I'm no crazy ass ho!

Movie is catching, I almoust bit my nails to my elbows,
it was so tense

Agatha seems a little backgroundish, and I don't like the actress,
seems like she didn't quite fit.
I liked Pan's legs more than her.

Overall, all the hype got my expectations up, but 23 did well.

8,5/10

The 2 most recent movies

The number 23
was pretty good in my opinion. Certainly not the typical Jim Carrey movie. I'd give it an 8/10.

Underworld Evolution
I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I guess it's kinda cheesy and all that but I thought it was pretty cool. I'd give it a 8/10 too.

Superman Returns.

A bit 'Iffy.' Entertaining, but not enthralling. A few cool special effects.

I also sa 'The Number 23'.
What a piece of shit....It starts out pretty interesting, and those conspiracies about the number 23 are fun for about 10 minutes, but after that, they get really annoying and far-fetched.
The story is ludicrous, the ending even worse.
Jim Carrey does a pretty decent job, but that doesn't save the rest of the actors, who act like they're in a soap-series.
The camera-work is the only thing which I liked. It all looks really good and creepy, but in the end, just a boring movie...

3/10

Yes, the proper title should have been "Superman Returns to mope about Lois" :)
