Radiohead have always scored high on Last.fm so there's no real surprise there.

Speaking of Last.fm, I read an interesting journal there: http://www.last.fm/user/LeeFH/journal/2 ... 12/547627/.
Someone stated that this is kind of the future for the music industry, bands offering their music online, relying on peoples generosity for their income. And I'm sure that works for a while, plenty of people have probably paid for this because their conscience played up. Part of that is that it's a unique deal.
But if all the bands start doing this, I think that in no-time it'll be the norm to just download the music and not donate at all.

I don't trust music fans worldwide to pay enough to let 90% of artists stay afloat. Don't mean to be a pessimist but most people just won't.

Has everyone read that message from Maynard James Keenan? He goes into this sort of stuff n makes some interesting comments. Pretty much says he doesn't necessarily care if people download his music now because he's got enough money to look after himself but urges people to pay for Isis and Autolux etc etc...

This won't kill the labels, it'll kill stores like iTunes if bands/labels figure out they can sell stuff on it's own.

What? Can't be stuffed downloading it? Surely it would take more effort to leave your home, go to the shops and buy it than downloading it.

I didn't spend money on it so I am not affraid to say... it is quite a boring album... indeeeed...

I really enjoyed some moments... but overall... it is a sleep inducing record... :?

ZTO and Porcupine Tree's "Fear of a Blank Planet" are my favorite albums this year... by far... :)

Amazing album, probably my favorite by them so far. But I buy albums, not downloads, so I took it for free and I'll buy the real thing if they ever release it.
