i've recently made a small list of upcoming titles that warrant my attention as more info becomes available...
Lost Odyssey, feb 2008 release
Mass Effect, 20 nov. 2007
Infinite Undiscovery, TBA
The Last Remnant, spring 2008
Resident Evil 5, TBA 2009
Too Human, winter 2008

just a few titles that look great, and makes me glad i chose a 360

Rumours are that the 360 will become cheaper again, soon.

The pricedrop for the PS3 sure worked: 180% more sales in the UK.

yep, rumors are of another 50$ price cut, wich would help compete against the hailing ps3, give a boost for the holidays, and put it toe to toe with the Wii for price

EDIT: ^^^I haven't had a good poutine in years. :(

As I am Canadian, I enjoy the NHL games. I don't play much, but I enjoy the Half-Life and Quake titles. Some of the Tom Clancy ones have been fun, too. I played some Mario games as a kid, and Mario Kart is good fun with friends. Especially when drinks are involved.

I like this idea of the Xbox coming down in price - I'd like to get one to play hockey in HD and serve as a media center.

The Orange box was cool. The credits for Portal are up there with the funniest things in video games ever.

I recently bought Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition and Call of Juarez. I use to have Call of Juarez on PC, but its so hard to function with a keyboard. I got rid of some of my old games I don't play anymore, I was quite shocked with the money I got for them.

Well im off to play Oblivion, ciao.

They're also among my favorites. They have some depth to them that not all games have.

I just bought Killer7 for around 1,50 euro. I was interested in the game long before it got released but then kind of forgot it. Untill now of course. It's amongst my all time favorite games now actually. The story and weirdness of it all is very much unlike other games.

Yes yes yes. And yes. I absolutely adore that game. Have you beat it yet? The ending is totally mindblowing.

I remember my brother and a friend rented it way back, close to when it first came out, and I played it for a bit... Once I got used to the controls, I was hooked. Went out and bought it for the full price of $60 when we had to take the rental back. I was sorta kicking myself when it dropped to $20 a week later... Then $10... :P

Yes I have now. I think it's amazing. The story is so out there but not just for the sake of being weird. Towards the ending things got more and more amazing actually. While playing I thought that it felt like a David Lynch movie but as a game.

Yeah, I love the way it just keeps getting better as it goes on. That's so bloody rare in games in the first place.

One of my favorite levels was Cloudman. "Oh gawd! I'm comin! I can't hold back! Ahh! *huge explosion* This... Is reeeeeal."
The sequence at the end of the level was just completely and totally fucked, too.

Oh, that reminds me, have you read the Killer7 plot analysis? It's really long and tedious, but if you can at least skim through it, it offers some incredibly cool insight into what might actually be going on. Really, really clears up some of the more murky plot points (hah, just plot 'points' eh?). Find it here:
http://faqs.ign.com/articles/642/642437p1.html (HUGE SPOILERS obviously, for those who haven't beaten or played the game)
