Has any one had a chance to catch Saw 4 yet? I've been wondering how it is though a bit worried because i think this series should have died after the second one...

I only liked the first part of Saw.
The contracts for 5 and 6 have already been signed, so there's a lot to look forward to. Until now, they've only become worse and worse with the years. Let's hope 4 will be better...

Yeah, I did. But I liked the first one, too. I'd say the 2nd one has more of a storyline and a bit more humor.

I agree, Saw 1 was actually good, Part 2 was plain shit, Part 3 was a little better but was more of a collection of gory scenes lacking a storyline.
so i doubt part 4 will be any good

I'm happy to say I haven't seen any Saws. (saw any seens?) Anyway, on a nicer note I watched "Westside Story" yesterday. I vaguely remember seeing it when I was a kid but had largely forgotten it. A lot of the music was crap. Ok, yes, there are those few excellent classic songs, but much of the rest is instantly forgettable. There were a lot of thin parts in the movie too but for 1961 it covered some edgy topics. And, yes, I cried at the end.

Murder porn? Maybe that would be interesting...

I've quite enjoyed all the Saw films.. plots gone a bit mad since.. Saw 1, really.. but.. I dunno. I just like the things.. Dem're amuzing.

On a semi-related note, I can't fucking wait for Shrooms to come out! Irish-made and it actually looks good! We normally never do anything good!! And as a result, I'm going to plug it like mad!
