Futurama: Bender's Big Score - 5/6
They are finally back, and this flick made waiting worthwhile :D

Superbad

Laughed my ass off. Way better than 40-year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. 7/10

Bender's Big Score

Starts out pretty slow, but the plot is awesome and there's a lot of recurring characters. 9/10

American Gangster

Mr. Ridley Scott, one of my favorite directors, gives us another great movie. It's a little long, but the acting and story is awesome. 8/10

Reeker

4/10

Only plus thing in the movie was the blind guy.
And that it wasn't too long.

Pure Torture!
Avoid at all costs!

I fell asleep 1/3 of the way thru! :( Not implying it was boring - I was sleepy.

Catch and Release. Pretty good. I thought Timothy Olyphant was quite hot in it, so maybe he saved the movie for me. :)

Timothy Olyphant... that's one of the funniest names ever. He's a good actor, in my humble opinion. I loved his part in Go; Die Hard... not so much.
I'm awaiting Hitman, with much fear in my heart... The movie will probably suck as much as Doom, but hey, it's T. Olyphant, so I'll be checking it out.

I hear ya about Hitman. I've got my fingers tentatively crossed.
Can fingers even do that? Hm.

I especially loved him in The Girl Next Door. He just oozes charisma.

Great to see some love for the Olyphant man!

Anyone here watch Deadwood? I'm nearly through the first series of it now and he's got the part of Seth Bullock nailed to the wall. Tough, charismatic. Good stuff.

BTW, haven't had time to watch Apocalypto yet.

No! And in fact, I was going to mention Deadwood. We stopped subscribing to HBO right when the show first debuted, so I've totally missed out on it. :o But I've got my eyes on the DVD's. I just need to...should wait until after Christmas. :?

Haha, you probably should, but you wouldn't regret it if you didn't. We rented the first series and loved every minute. So, so good...

I'll have to find out if the DVDs are available on Netflix since the sets themselves are so pricey. They should be (available)...we just got Extras Season 1 in the mail yesterday, even though I've already watched all the episodes. It was Season 2 I've missed - except for the one David Bowie appeared on. Oh well. I'll still watch them.

Has anyone seen Hitman yet?

Just saw THE MIST. A little bit too depressing for the holiday season, but I loved it. The CGI creatures were on par with the CGI effects in DREAMCATCHER (Stephen King CGI haha) So they looked good, just not real. And everything was just like the novella, which ruled, but the ending will just make you miserable for a day and a half, hahaha. Not for everyone, but for those who like the suspense, and Stephen King, definitely check it out while it's in theaters.
