Clearly these people are brainwashed morons...as the saying goes "Only in America".

I dont mind if people speak their mind, but for fuck sake, think before you say something. I think these people need to reassess what they've said, fucking idiots.

Morons like these are unfortunately not solely confined to America.

The WBC have ALWAYS been like this, picketing soldiers funerals too, placing placards into the hands of children that don't understand what they say.

But, as an American, I also think that it's not like America has a monopoly on nutballs or hateful pukes.

That being said, I'm proud of the fact that in America you have the absolute right to display your ignorance and hatred in public and allow anyone with a decent sense of morality to develop contempt for you.

God bless America. God bless us all. Or, the flying spaghetti monster if that's your taste.

+1 Gurp13 :)

As a member of the military, I am torn. I am sworn to protect the freedom of every American, but I also despise that this is what they choose to say. Whatever, it makes me feel better knowing that most people feel the opposite.

I watched a documentary on these guys sometime last year, and I watched it with mixed emotions. There was the obvious comtempt and disgust at how they go about promoting their 'message'. But then there was also a small amount of pity for them, at one point in the documentary passers by were throwing stones at the kids who were 'protesting'.

They do seem relentless in their pursuit to be at the forefront of the press. No matter what kind of picture the documentary I watched painted of them, it gave them exactly what they wanted, people talking about them. For every 10,000 people that watched it and were disgusted, there were probably another 100 that found this new way of thinking revolutionary.

The best thing we can do about these bigots is ignore them. Without people talking about them, they'll be poewerless.

... Although I'd have thought that Heath will probably be buried in Oz and it's unlikely they'll travel that far just to picket

Yeah, it'll most likely be in Perth.

It would be a shame for those...people...to spend so much money and travel so far just to get a smack in the mouth.

Was that the Louis Theroux one? That was very interesting indeed. What was indeed most disturbing was how these things used their whole family as a sort of 'hate package'. The children didn't understand at all what they were doing and are no doubt scarred for life because of how their parents have brought them up.

Was also good to see that everyone with even half a brain was actually united against these monsters. People of all faiths and none were standing together to fight back at all this.

Funny how it can take something so hateful to bring out the best in people.

I just feel sorry for Heath's family if they have to deal with any of this.

It's bit surreal, isn't it some modern art performance? Like, flash mob of real-life trolls? Modern art often depends on tastelessness so I'd rather believe it's elaborate joke in extremely poor taste than real "religious" movement. Come on, there's no way you can gather so many such blatantly stupid, bigot twatheads in one place. That must be fake.

This is the documentary with Louis Theroux:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 6858417528

It comes down to the right to picket on public land vs the sanctity of a funeral. The right to protest vs inciting prejudice based hatred (which I believe falls under an anti-terrorism law).

As for Djskrimps, I think if a minor portion of the American population are violating the freedoms of the many in order to exploit their own petty agenda then they are a threat to the general population and their way of living.

But yeah, fortunately Heath will be buried in Perth. Hopefully.

Ya know what I haven't said much on w while, but hey EVERYONE! lets all create a new form of christianity.....but this time we'll hate everyone and really say it....oh yeah that's right there's all ready groups out there like that they are considered to be one of the biggest christian coalition groups around also known as the KKK, hmmm.........sounds familliar to me. So come on everyone lets all start hating like they do. It'll be fun. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No longer are people equal in the eyes of God. As long as people keep thinking and doing shit like this, this world is never going to change for the better.......and the more people in general keep talking about idiots like this then they will be receiving a lot of publicity.....remember any puclicity is "good" publicity....so why bother with articles like this folks, just remember what this article really stands for......a way to let decent intelligent people know who are the idiots so we as a human race don't get confused as to who the morons really are.
