Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Since the FF forums are no more, I thought it would be a great idea to start a thread here. Hopefully when the new album is released,(if it will get released) the forums will be back.

Anyone had a chance to pick up Ascension of the Watchers? Picked it up today and listening to it now. I'm really digging it, I was expecting something alot different but this is an amazing album. Seriously, pick it up next time you going CD shopping, if not get it online.

It's like a softer FF. Very good stuff.

Why are the forums closed, Doug?

Tornio - I wouldn't doubt it.

They did get upgraded, they had the same layout as the new Devy forums. When I went into the forums yesterday a message came up saying the forums are no more and it redirected me to the FF website.

http://www.fearfactoryforums.com/

After they got upgraded not many people visited anymore, I guess people speculated that they were no more. It a shame it is gone, but to tell you the truth only about 10 or so people visted the forums, including me so I assume it was pointless to keep open if no one was going to bother to keep it running. Hopefully if the band does decide to release a new album with a new label, things will go back to normal...but for the time being will just have to discuss FF here.

I haven't heard much from the FF camp, but I hope to god their not going to pack it in just yet...Im sure they still have another few albums in them before they throw in the towel...plus they need to tour Australia one more time since last time they came I was in America, damn. :(

This is my only response at this time.

This was something discussed among myself and management. At this time we've agreed to take the forums offline until there is a need for them.

Sorry,
Doug

There's no need for forums? WTF, FF suddenly lost all of their fanbase?

I don't get it.

Yeah Im shocked aswell. Seems only 2 years ago that the FF forums had over 100 members, now its like 10. :?

I think once they release a new album people will flock back to the forums.
