I've now got that too, thanks. 8) But I don't have time right this minute to watch it :(

(I have to feed children party food, like cocktail sausages and fries-to-go and cake and good lord, it's a weird mixture of snow, hail and sunshine outside. Yay for Spring in Strathearn! :? )

Batman begins

They say it's one of better comics movies, but well, seems I just don't like the genre, still too much of funny suits and pompous dialogues. I mean, Hellboy was cool, but that was because of Ron Perlman and lack of cheesy heroic lines.

School for Scoundrels.

Amusing enough but I still remember the original old 60s version starring Alistair Sim and Terry Thomas as being better. Then again, it is perhaps unfair to compare the two as the cultural background and situation are very different.

Kill Buljo

Norwegian parody of, yes, that's right, Kill Bill.

And it was actually funny! :D :D
It was the second best norwegian movie I've seen.

I've seen two.

Cloverfield. What a let down! First of all I found the photo to be extremely annoying. I can totally see people getting seasick at the theaters, just too "real". But seriously, my gf's 8 year old is better with a camera.
Secondly: the guy filming was a disturbing ass, making stupid comments that just weren't plausible.
Monster was ok, but throughout the whole movie I was waiting to be scared just a little...Never happened.

I really have no idea about Cloverfield, all I know is the name.

And now I am too scared to watch it, if it's either that good or that bad.
I thought it was some drama thriller, but .. It's not, is it?

I watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1, 2 and 3.
First was the best, in third movie the turtles started to look
really creepy.. In the first they were just funny and not-frightening.
And the songs..

NINJA NINJA RAP!! GO NINJA GO NINJA GO!!

Ahh, that was gooood :D

I have no idea about the genre..it's filmed the same way as the first blair witch movie.
It's about *something* attacking the city and its being filmed by some dude who is trying to get out of the city with some of his friends.. here's the trailer http://youtube.com/watch?v=IvNkGm8mxiM

30 days of night - Nowhere near as scary as the cover of the DVD case made out but fairly well done. Some cool shots and the ending wasn't exactly what I expected. Pretty gory in places but I felt it could have been scarier. 7/10

Lion For Lambs - Brilliant acting but one of those films that doesn't really much of a plot. You realise that you have just watched a lot of conversations between people but like I say the acting is top drawer. I think Meryl Streep is great.

Just in the middle of watching The assasination of Jesse James which although slow is pretty engrossing so far.
