All the good ideas have probably been tapped out at this stage..

Anybody else looking forward to Path of the Furon? The new Destroy All Humans game.. Think they're incredibly good craic. Highly anticipating the new one. Looks great from the different gameplay/promo videos I've seen for it..

Far Cry 2

All sequals, shame really. Why are good original games so rare these days? And why do all good original games come with sequals?

Sequels are fine by me. Mass Effect, thats a good original game. So is Bioshock.

hahahahahaha!

I beat Alone in the Dark yesterday, did both endings(hooray for the skip chapter feature!)...Honestly the ending fucks with you. I didnt know what to make of the "darkness"ending. The "light" ending makes more sense, but still makes you wonder and leaves you hanging.

I bought Bioshock (360) yesterday, played it for a couple of hours and to be honest I don't see what all the fuss is about. Sure it's a great concept, but so far its very same-y.

I'll give it a chance though.

Honestly, I think the developments of the story later on are what got it such high praise. There are some serious "HOLY SHIT, no way!" moments later on. :)

Well, some say Bioshock is simplified, rehashed System Shock 2 :). I have to agree with Joe, Bioshock wasn't that great, it's stylish, beautiful and has cool story, but somehow wasn't that captivating for me. Maybe it's overly stylish, all those dramatic voiceovers and shiny and colorful environments doesn't work that well for me.

I've discovered Oblivion, so I've been away in Cyrodil - skipping across the landscape, a-hackin' and a-slashin'...

That, as well as knee ligament damage - has been occupying most of my time the last few weeks.
