America sure doesn't seem to. What's with that? Want a leading man? Get an Aussie or a Brit. Or at least that's how it seems.

When Stallone's running around in his 60s killing bad dudes, you know there's something wrong. He should be Governor of some state or another, surely.

I made a brand new gamer tag on Xbox Live, THE SUPERHOST, and hosted a bunch of games of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 tonight and totally smashed people. I went 42 and 7 in one of the matches as a corporal! haha, it was a good time!

if that happens I'll do a happy dance...and a naked one it will be. Yes, Bale is in every movie now but he could be in even more movies in my opinion because he's great. I sooooo want the MGS movie not to suck!

Just got Mario Kart for the Wii today. It's great fun! Pretty much like all the other ones +motorbikes.

Anyone got it? We could internetiplayify.

Got LEGO Star Wars today. They're just such great fun.. LEGO Batman is out in September! :D

Also, strongly considering getting a Nintendo DS for my girlfriend for her birthday.. She loves handhelds but hates the PSP and the GameBoy she has is mightily out of date.. Anybody willing to contribute some praise for the DS? Dun wanna spend €180 for it to be a flop..

DS is excellent. Wide range of games for it. Lots of good girlie type games for it too.

That's kind of like saying...

checked out the 'metal' genre today

long story short

find better music

Or:

saw a movie today

long story short

find a better form of entertainment

:P

Personally I wholeheartedly recommend the DS and its fantastic library of games.

The range of things you can do on a DS is too wide to make so sweeping a statement. My son has one and he has all the usual boy games for it... fighting, bashing, wrestling, space slasher-uppers, racing games, immersive adventure games, etc, etc. I think he's gotten long past the trillion Pokemon games. My daughter has things like Nintendogs (even I liked giving the puppy a bath), Princess Peach, Zelda, Electroplankton (that is soooo weird, I like it. Little sea creatures all make different musical notes and you make them move and create tunes or sound effects,) Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon (yes, teach your child that in order to get a woman called Muffy to marry you you have to turn her into an alcoholic by giving her a bottle of wine every day for a month or two.)

Also with the two devices they can send insults to each other all day long over the wifi link if they so choose.

Then of course there's the Brain Training puzzle series - that's pretty good for making you waste a great deal of time. And I see they now have an interactive cookery book, a personal fitness training thing and ever more non-game products.

There's a wide choice. How you choose to use it depends on your age, gender and what games or non-games you like.

I totally agree (although I didn't see a movie today).

And I love Lego Star Wars :D Although the second one is a bit much, too much of the same.
Still have to play Lego Indiana Jones at some point. It'll be different because I have actually seen those movies :P

I think Keeker wins.. Got one anyway. Green DS with LEGO Star Wars: Complete Saga and Worms: Armageddon for €199.99. I asked a girl I know in Florida, that would apparently that costs €120 there. I hate this damn expensive country! And why must Spore be out in September!?!? A month I'm going to be incredibly short of money..
