i just some epsiodes of some cartons i havent seen in a long long time and they r still as fresh beating alot of these so called sat. morning crap.
im talking about inhumanoids, visonaries, mask, teknoman(teknaman blade in japan). all good cartoons loaded with scifi action
and also the first 3 were in the 80s and hasbro pumped the toys shelves with action figures. teknoman was shown in the 90s but had the same vibe and that big roboteck/gundam action with a good and interesting story too.

anyone else remember these shows which one u liked more, which villa or hero u liked, etc.

'Classic' cartoons? I think you need to go back to the 30s and 40s for Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Foghorn Leghorn et al.
But some of these are okay...
The Pink Panther Show
Top Cat
Herge's Adventures of Tintin
Deputy Dawg
Yogi Bear
Wacky Races
The Hairbear Bunch
ScoobyDoo

Mostly stop-frame animation:-
The Clangers (still fantastic, watched some the other day)
Ivor the Engine
Noggin the Nog
Pogles Wood
The Magic Roundabout (Eric Thompson ones, none of that re-done politcally correct crap)
Chorlton and the Wheelies
Trap Door (brilliant)
Trumpton
Bagpuss

My friend and I are huge cartoon freaks and we quote "classic" cartoon sentences all the time. I don't know too much about 30's or 40's but we pretty much own the 80's and 90's.

By the way who have written the adventures of Winnie the Pooh? Not the movie but the tv-series. There are some comedy bits there that are almost genious.

Oh and the best cartoon ever by far is Muumilaakson tarinat or Moomin. Music and athmosphere are great and the conversations are way more "realistic" than in other cartoons. If I ever stumble upon a Moomin dvd I'll buy it.

Bumb.

Everyone I know is either working or studying right now so from monday to friday I have nothing to until 4pm. So I've been doing something you have to do alone. Nostalgia trip :D Been watching the moomins from youtube the whole morning and then I found this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDKsS-P0IEI

Did I mention that the musics rule in moomins? I bloody cried when I heard this song in a winter episode three hours ago (moomin sees the frozen ocean first time in his life). I love this song. It's my favourite in the world at the moment :D

Jesus Christ this stuff brings back a lot memories. I was 1-2 years old when the show started in Finland and me and my best friend grew up with all those characters and even looked up to some of them (snufkin :D). Now me and that friend haven't even spoken to each other in ages. And suddenly I remember where we used to meet, where we played, when was the last time I woke up before 8.00 am, drove 5km and went exploring the nearby forests and went back to home when the sun set. Everything was so good back then.
