Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

Yes it is. Very much about exploring(which has consumed almost all my time playing so far...the environment is incredible)

Enemies can be quite bothersome from the get go, but VATS really helps out with that!

finally got my Silent Hill Homecoming, the US version. Didn't want to wait for the Euro release. Also today my Fallout 3 arrived. I can't wait to play that one. Oh and I'm really digging Fable 2. All the possibilities in that game are awesome and lotsa fun!

I've been playing Fallout 3 for over 10 hours now and love it. In the beginning it took me a while to figure out the map and compass system but once I had that figured out, things worked pretty well. There are a few things I don't like too much. I agree with what has been said regarding enemies being bothersome. That's basically because the FPS aspect of the game was not really done too well. Hitting an enemy without using VATS is anything but easy and you will waste a lot of ammo before the enemy's finally dead. And using VATS is cool on the one hand but on the other hand it also takes a lot away from the action. Killing enemies in real time is fun too so I wish Bethesda had done a better job in that regard. Also, this game probably won't ever win a graphics award. Characters don't really show emotions at all and the character design in general ain't that pretty. But the good thing is that that's not really important in this game. The post apocalyptic setting does look pretty neat indeed and it's fun to just walk around and explore everything. I really love the dialogues (mind you, my version is completely in English so here's hoping that I keep understanding everything so well), they are funny and very well done and are way more important than graphics in this game. I really dig the whole RPG aspect of this game in general. And there's lots of side quests it seems. Today I took care of one where I was just supposed to deliver a letter. I thought 'Oh well, that can't take that long' but it actually turned out to be a quest that took me several hours to solve. So that is pretty cool. And this is one of those games that I want to beat more than once because of the different ways you can play this game. So far I have been a good boy, saved Megaton by disarming the bomb for example, but I do want to play again and behave like a total prick too! :D Anyways, great game so far!

I love the freedom like you mentioned. Shooting without VATS is easy, the farther you get with better weapons.

Quests take ridiculous amounts of time, unlike Oblivion where they could be done rather quickly.

The story gets very good about 10 quests in(if that)

The game world itself is incredible, very powerful when you see some of the Washington DC landmarks partially destroyed due to the wars.

Love the game, it's definitely hooked me.

I damn sure am! I'm a big zombie lover so this is a must have for me, also got it on pre-order! Dead Rising was cool but this game will be so much more kick ass!!!

oh and regarding Fallout 3...I HATE those damn fire ants! Boy, did I waste a big bunch of ammo on those fuckers...

and I gotta say again, I LOVE the game!
Also, I hope my Gears of War 2 shows up on Friday!

Argh oblivion! I got turned into a vampire and now no one talks to me haha. Slightly annoying I must say ¬¬'
I'm playing Fable 2 at the moment. It's fun, but it's annoying me how glitchy it is. I keep having families randomly disappear.

And having so many people love you can can't get out of your house is ridiculous. xD Next time I'm being evil.

I'm looking forward to Gears or War 2 as well, hoping it will be good. :D

And because I have no musical talent, I can't wait for Rock Band 2 either. Hooray for simulated rock stardom =D

Try hooking your machine up to teh intarwebz. I believe Fable 2 has been patched almost before it was in the shops.

Really? My machine is hooked up, but it's offered me no patch...

Maybe that's glitched too D:
I'm a games destroyer haha...

At least it wasn't me who forked out £40 for it. xD

Yea fire ants suck until you get some good weapons.

I'm at a point in Fallout 3 where I'm pretty much unstoppable. I found an "Alien Blaster" that can vaporize almost anything in 1 to 2 hits. Sucks the ammo is incredibly rare for it.

Yessss, Left 4 Dead must come sooooon.

I prowl the savannah and jungle at night, silently dealing with those who stand in my way...
I play both sides against the middle...none are safe; as I strike terror into the heart of this ravaged nation and plunder its wealth.

Such a shame this malaria has me in a funk.

And the ending is kinda...tepid.
